The CX-50 is worth a test drive if you’re in the market for something like an Outback or RAV4.

I bought a CX-50 Turbo Premium an month ago and I’ve very, very happy with it. I had a CX-5 Turbo Grand Touring Reserve prior, and I would say that the CX-50 is better in every conceivable way for my needs, rear twist-beam suspension and all.

I bought a CX-50 last year. 22K miles in, I like it a lot so I’m biased, but I feel like I got an awful lot for my money. Coming from a 2011 Forester, I feel like I’m in a f’ing Rolls.

What you are suggesting could actually be a good “out” for the automakers. They could include a cheap battery operated AM radio in the trunk/cargo area for emergencies.
