Hmm, ZDX?

You’re forgetting that these will mostly go on poseurmobiles so the driver can look cool with their extreme downforce aero kit and kidney-mashing suspension while driving back and forth to the office.   These are the same people who buy M3Comps because they are the most expensive 3 series model on the market and not

these wheels require special tools for their installation which

It’s not even worth it if you track the car regularly. In fact, a centerlock wheel is terrible for an unsupported track day because they can’t be removed/installed with regular hand tools. You typically need an enormous torque wrench/breaker bar and/or a very fancy air impact. It only makes sense if it’s an actual

One day you will need a special proprietary BMW tool to activate your turn signal, and BMW owners everywhere will rejoice.

Running and driving shouldn’t be assumed here - this thing has been off the road for 14 years and is going to need some work and a thorough going-through to get everything up to spec. It also likely sat for a while prior to that given how low the mileage is.

It was a not great a car when new. The price while seemingly low likely represents a market high.  In Canada the Pony and the Stellar were previews of the legendary brand quality, which took many more years to shed, the Excel didn’t help much. For years where I live the brand was pronounced “High and Dry”.

You knew Donald Trump when he was a kid?

Jeremy Clarkson’s observation comes to mind “Owning a TVR in the past was like owning a bear, I mean it was great, until it pulled your head off, which it would. One day, it would pull your head off.”

I watch a Kei vehicle enthusiast on YouTube, who also lives in NYC. Queens, I think. Most of the vehicles he owns have VA plates. I don’t think you can legally register a Kei in NY state.

lead a low-speed chase to the next exit, and stop in a place that has some outpost of civilization, rather than pulling over immediately in the middle of nowhere

I seem to recall that the military will ship your car back to the US for free if you had served overseas in Japan or Germany. So I am guessing this was a car that some servicemen had used in Japan, and decided to bring it back home since shipping is free.

If it passes a PPI, it’s a NP. When the top is down, it is one of the prettiest vehicles made in the 80s.

Looks good and seems priced right.

Wake me up when I can get one at $750 per month and $0 down ...

I was coming on to post this very thing, if I recall, the remaining Oceans (and their parts!) were purchased by a ride-sharing leasing company in NYC, so this may be one of the first of those cars to be hitting the road.

huh? In what world would having it in the rea driver side prevent you from using both sides of the pump

It’s not YOU hitting them, it’s SOMEONE ELSE parking by “braille” into you.

Don’t wanna poke the worm, but don’t you need to do something about those chromishey headlights?

I guess it’s ok if you never have to parallel park or park in a lot in proximity of other vehicles.
