Not to defend the crazy pricing because it’s overpriced by default and always has been since OW2 launch, but the stated pricing is off.

I can see this costing at least that much as a commission, but commissions are bespoke. This is a custom car, and any modification that isn’t exactly to the buyer’s taste subtracts from the value. They did a decent job in tailoring most of the modifications to appeal to a wide audience, but $100k isn’t a price point…

An FJ60 with a modern powertrain and a fresh coat of paint is not “worth” $100k. That may be what the seller needs to recoup their costs of doing a full restoration and all the modifications; but I would direct them to the handbook on “Buying Someone Else’s Project Car”.
