The RS6 Avant is the undeniable answer to the question: you can have any car you want, but you can only have one car.

I can totally understand being unhappy with the quality of a piece of art. I don’t understand, though, the blanket objection to a piece of art purely on the basis of how it was created. I don’t see people raging at game developers for not writing games in assembly language, even though using modern programming…
EVERYBODY hates Ted Cruz. Even his closest ideological allies can’t stand him, on a personal level.
How is she “trying to make anything better”? She’s complaining that her job doesn’t pay enough, and complaining that she’s not being paid because another group of employees have gone on strike (which is of course absolutely their right).
She’s making the choice to work in the industry, though, even though she has the choice not to, so clearly they’re compensating her fairly for doing the job they’re hired her to do. If someone chooses to get paid less in order to work in a more “fun” industry, that’s certainly their call, but it’s also a choice.
You have to either (a) not watch much YouTube, or (b) place a REALLY low value on your time to not subscribe to YouTube Premium. $2/month more than Spotify, and for that you get zero ads.

Amen. The idea that “if you just have one bag, and it’s a rollaboard, you can put it in the overhead bin, but if it’s a backpack, you can’t, even though the backpack takes up less space in the bin” is just silly.
If it were stock, and a different color, then NP. But it ain’t, and it ain’t.
“In totality, the entire car experience is just better with an EV”
“It’s well known this industry already underpays folks,” Kobos said.
Lot more than 50 people - when the Tonight Show moved to NYC after Leno left, there were 164 staff.
There are lots of very good wireless earbuds that DO have ANC and wireless charging, at or below that price point.
From the Reuters article, sounds like they were staying at a friend’s home, and were trying to shake the paparazzi before going back there (so as not to let the paps know where they were staying and with whom), but gave up after two hours. A two-hour GTA-style chase just isn’t feasible, but trying to shake a group of…
Yup. At this point, over 12% of adult men in the US have appeared on the show being hit in the crotch with a football.
Since the contract has expired, studios are free to hire whomever they want. Anyone taking those jobs is aware (or damn well should be) that, once the strike is over and a new deal is signed, only WGA members will be allowed to write for the studios, and anybody who worked during the strike has a 0.0000000000% chance…
Comcast made it very clear today that they’ll be exercising their right to sale when it becomes available in early 2024. Iger would love to not have to buy, but Disney really doesn’t have a choice in the matter.
I’m with you on the two items, but, if I have just one item, why should I have to sacrifice legroom because it can fit in the overhead bin? That creates a perverse incentive to bring a larger bag.
Better headline would be "cars are lasting longer than ever." Data don't show how long individuals are keeping cars before selling them, but rather how long cars are on the road before being junked.
Bialik had a TV show? I honestly didn’t know, and I say that as someone who regularly watched Big Bang Theory.
