Yes, but what games did he buy? C’mon, Kotaku! Where’s that journalistic bone of you! Give us what whe really want to know!

Yep. There’s no reward that would be worth it to me to read every terminal in this game. It’s seems common nowadays for game makers to throw these kind of endless fetch quests in just to get some dumb useless achievement and nothing else (at least games used to actually give you something for finding all the secret…
Also, what kind of animal says this: “We’re in the business of killing terrorists and business is good.”
ISIS doesn’t take over unoccupied areas. They take over occupied areas, normal cities like the one you live in*. But you’re right! Those refugees sure come from somewhere.
You’re missing the point. We kill them, they get pissed and kill us. We get pissed for them killing us and kill them. And this process just sort of repeats itself on and off throughout recorded human history. You’re not speaking of change, you’re just talking revenge. The oldest story in the book.
The funny thing is that some of these poor people often have pretty beefy computers, running a gtx 970 and 980. If you don’t believe me visit this subreddit /r/crackstatus and ask something like “how are the performance of xxx game on your rig” and they’ll come back to you with surprisingly high-end specs. If you can…
“ First of all, piracy is not theft. There is a reason why we use a different word for it.”
While I’m all for the notion of supporting the creators by using legitimate means to access media, there are big flaws with using that as an argument against piracy. There are many legal ways to access media that doesn’t compensate the original creator so being against one (or two) but not others is a double standard.…
up to your morals, in the best light I can interpret it as you wanting to gift permanently the game to him? (which means you never play that game again), which goes as consumer rights activism, right to transfer your license. But if you are using your license at the same time as them/letting all of your friends “have”…
I will actually rent the console version on GameFly, pirate the PC version, beat it, then return the game to GameFly and delete the PC title.
From an idealistic standpoint, I... actually really really love this argument.
If a game has DRM I expect some hacker to crack it, because that’s what the scene does, that’s the sport. And then they have to release the crack, because that’s their proof they did it.
I dont pirate simply because you honestly have no idea what kind of malware might be in the cracked binaries. A game has millions of lines of code, its not hard for a cracker/hacker to stick in a couple of lines that keylogs your computer.
Yeah, in his case his primary motivation seems to be his minor “scene” celebrity, and the rest is just the usual bullshit excuses. If you’re going to get into that sort of game, just own it, don’t pretend you’re doing it for the good of anyone other than yourself.
I’d like to see it done, just because it’s there. The X-15 STILL holds records that have lasted since the 60's, we should break them, because we can. We should ALWAYS be striving to push the envelope. As for practical uses for a hypersonic aircraft, I’ll freely admit they are marginal, but they could also be a…
Question:
“the portal to Kanai’s Stomping Grounds will be gone at the end of March.”
I own like 5 anker batteries. I don’t even know why I keep buying them but I do.
