I still believe the whole Crossover/SUV thing is just a consumer response to the big truck craze. I mean have you ever been stuck in traffic behind a bunch of big ass trucks? It isn’t pleasant. You can’t see around them so it makes it difficult to judge if you can pass or predict how to brake.

What’s the point of a V8 in a Lexus??? Just so that when their drivers hit the gas instead of brake by accident, they crash faster with stronger impact? I guess that’s one way to make their impact!

Blasphemous and perverse, but from a financial standpoint I guess it makes sense seeing how expensive a larger Porsche engine would cost. Not for me though; The engine is soul of a car. I also would never want a Mustang with a Porsche engine in it.
