This is one reason I gave up on the show after a couple seasons, when it became clear there wasn’t an arc to it all. It’s just a (truly endless) cycle of ‘zombies are bad but here are even worse humans’. What’s the point if there will never be an answer or resolution to it?

Wait till ray-tracing matures, then we’ll have the next big leap. Lighting in games is like drawing with crayons compared to how real light behaves. Ray racing will bridge that gap.
