I’ve said it before, but I’ll repeat it here. Of all the news sites I visit, Kotaku has about 100% more coverage of Smash bros Melee than any other site. That is to say, no one else covers it. This series peaked with Reach by any measure. Kinda sad to see it fading into B-grade status. For me and many fans it lived and died with Bungie.

I was replaying Dead Space 2 recently and it’s not aged all that well. The design was fine in it’s day but it’s really quite shallow by more modern standards. I like their work but honestly I’m not going to miss them.

Playing this game sounds like a miserable experience of endless grinding for the stuff you want. I hate that. I own it too and have put in maybe five hours. But I don’t know how much I’ll keep playing. This kind of game design is just tragic. And more to the point, not fun.
