Unrealistically attractive people? Because being attractive is unrealistic. I hate this reasoning. This has nothing to do with this article, but whatever. For some reason it's becoming more and more acceptable, even encouraged, to marginalize people who aren't overweight and actually take care of themselves. You…
What's more exciting is comparing first year PS3 games to this year PS3 games. That's impressive. The Last of Us vs Uncharted 1. Or a better example is Halo 4 vs Halo 3 (I know it's not PS3). Games in the last year of PS4 life span will be incredible.
I feel like I'd be really freaking hot if I dressed this heavy for jungle adventures, etc. That said, Drake is one of my very favorite character designs. It's approachable, sensical and very relatable. Helps sell him as a guy you could be. Rather than outfit him in some badass gear or expensive equipment.
Shawha-? That's really surprising. Considering how long GT 5 took I figured this one would be out 3 years after the PS 4 launched. I REALLY hope this sticks and it comes out this fall. I'd be a happy gamer.
I really like the look of this. Slick 60s style sci-fi meets 90s gaming tropes. Fun mix.
You are precious. You are on some ego trip if you think you have the authority to speak for gamers en masse. I'm not going to give you a lecture on how marketplaces work... so just nevermind.
Yeah... he's as open minded as you are... yikes. It's called take it or leave it. Nevermind the new wolfenstein if you don't want it, but going out of your way to lament it's very existence smacks of an odd desperation and anger. Get over it and move on. Promote what you like, don't lambaste something just because…
Looks great. Though my feeling on Spector are mixed. He's made some great games, but not recently. And personally he's doing some kind of douchy things, like bitching out the new Wolfenstein for existing, and freaking out on a Glenn Beck employee for being a Glenn Beck employee. Both of those suggest he's not a…
Hell yes I miss pre-rendered backgrounds. I understand why no Fallout or Infinity Engine stuff though. We're talking best here. I LOVE Fallout, more than you do I promise but those backgrounds weren't on the level of the Final Fantasys or late 90s PS 1 games. Not in terms of unique details, animation flourishes…
Wow. So he's as crazy as we all thought. I figured he was just a hack but apparently he's full on psychotic. His hatred for "wall street" is akin to a mad bomber or would be terrorist who blames some nebulous group or organization for no accurate reason.
This is what happens when you release nothing but trash for a decade.
This is good news. I was worried that Disney was only going to make movie tie in games from here on out, as in terrible terrible games like the new Star Trek. But with these three GREAT developer behind the new games, honestly, we may see the best Star Wars titles since KOTOR.
Yeah I would never even consider supporting crowd funding game from Silicon Knights, doesn't matter what they are pitching. Sounds like a terrible company and in particular Dyack. It's a wonder they are still in business. That said, this might be a last ditch effort on their part to stay that way.
Why is it a crime to fire people? Activision is in the business of staying in business. I'm sorry when good people lose their jobs but that's this industry. Everyone that works in the film industry works job to job, almost without exception, but no one complains. It's the way it is and it wouldn't make sense…
Every CEO owns stock in their company. Zuckerberg owns one of the largest chunks of Facebook, obviously. It's also incentive for better performance on the job. If they run the company well the stock rises and they make more money. It'd be very odd if a CEO or high ranking board member wasn't an investor. Often…
I forgot, America USED to be the land of the free. Now it's the land of Big Government.
I understand the distinction between private and publicly owned. So what are the majority of share holders saying about this? ...Nothing. Most shareholders are in it just to see share prices rises and turn a profit on investment. Kotick does have people he answers too and it's up to them to decide about his…
I'm not adverse to this really, in principal. A successful company, or any company, has the right to run itself as it sees fit. If you don't like it, don't work for them and don't buy their products. But as a gamer, I have to wonder how many games could have been funded by that salary. I mean really, how many…
I hope they get it together. I'm a HUGE Thief fan. I understand and expect that this will resemble the original two game in only a few passing ways, but as long as the gameplay is mostly intact, I'd be thrilled. Thief is the only game, the ONLY game to get stealth right, and make it fun, in my opinion.
