One thing to keep in mind with the battery drain is that updates will drain battery quickly for a while, since the system is working in the background to reindex and move stuff around. Wait a day or so, and reboot with the home button and power button, then see what’s up, I guess.

Downloaded it this morning for my iPad, got the dreaded “swipe for update” white screen of death, spoke for an hour with tech support, and now HATING LIFE as my battery is draining faster than I thought possible and I have to re-log into each website I visit if I leave the page.
