Such a good action movie.

It is a reasonable passage of time for the man to have aged a bit. When he marries a 19 yr old, and wears long scarves and plastic jewelry (and isn’t Lenny Kravitz) I’ll join in the fun making. He looks pretty decent for 53, even if his photographer does dress him funny. ;p

That suit is AMAZING. Like a mix of 60's Mod and Victorian Dandy in all the right ways. But hard for a mere mortal to pull off.

I’ve been waiting for this post since yesterday and I’m not ashamed of it. Okay I’m a little ashamed. But...look at him! He is perfect.

My wife and her family are native Spanish speakers, though when I’m around they speak mostly English. But sometimes when I’m over for dinner (especially if they have other Spanish-speaking guests over) they’ll slip into extended discussions in Spanish, but my wife or my mother-in-law generally translate for me

I’m uncomfortable with it because Aronofsky is icky. If she was dating Ethan Hawke or Keanu Reeves, I’d be like ‘you get it girl!’

I never like hearing about the young ingenue ‘it girl’ with the older director only because there’s a weird power dynamic. But I can’t judge their relationship. They’re both adults.

Craft Thread!

Pour Unfortunate Souls is dope. Also, shout out to Ursula, who inspired an entire generation of youngsters to become contract lawyers!

And Jeremy Irons as Scar is a stroke of casting genius.

The wit of the reprise is so sharp, considering the characters. I can’t hear the phrase “I’ve been thinking,” without hearing “A dangerous pastime/ I know.”

Still wondering how “Jose Torres” thinks he would get into any white supremacist organization

I think Duane Johnson’s introduction of Lin-Manuel Miranda shows that he should host.

Find yourself someone who looks at you like Lin Manuel Miranda looks at everybody.

People get pissed with me for texting a paragraph instead of lots of shorter texts. Like either way it’s the same amount of information, wouldn’t you rather have your phone ring once instead of a dozen times?

It only takes 8 women to do what 11,12 or 13 men can.

How come we only get 8 instead of 11? I feel like we are being cheated.

I give a pass for keaton he was in the movie hidden figures after all. And in general I’m glad they are apologizing and being made aware of it.

It was even nicer of him to send a couch, too. ;)

I’m having difficulty understanding Margaret Cho’s perspective here. It sounds like Tilda was up front about the issues, expressed her desire to do something about it and sought advice from someone who is in a good position to provide it. And Cho’s responses were thoughtful and measured as well. Not sure what got lost
