This game has a cartoony style, and I actually like it. Just because they aren't using realistic textures or 3d lighting effects doesn't make it bad. It looks likes what I'd expect a tablet version of Magicka to look like.

I'd prefer for the game to feel fluid, and for all the mechanics to stay in place. Graphics aren't the most important thing, and most other tablet games set the bar pretty low anyway.
Ah, I see now. For some reason I thought your initial post was referring to a hardware-hacked tablet. I would be all for it, as long as it performs well for all of the apps that I would intend to use in the car.
I agree with your choices. You can't please everyone, and there are too many tablets to include every variety of hardware out there.
Pick your favorite of the two!
Carbon seems to use Android's built in backup features. It's something that you can do manually with adb, but it simplifies the process for you. The free version has the benefit of cloud syncing.
It could be adaptable with short/right-angled cables.
I would be interested in an installation kit where I could securely mount any 7-inch tablet into any double-din slot. The only requirements would be a way to lock it in place, charge it, and hook it up into my car stereo. That would be the best of both worlds.
I'd imagine they have some form of DRM on Office now, but that doesn't mean it can't be bypassed; however, that would be the equivalent to piracy.
Next, they need to get a web/desktop client that syncs with the app.
I accomplished this once, but I don't have the task anymore. I remember doing it by using the foursquare API
Alright, let's try this out. I'll start: Android is better than iPhone.
That's only the Windows 8 desktop version of Yahoo. The screenshot in the left is their web interface.
Vote: Nexus 7
I wish I could like or up vote your comment. Everything Nintendo releases is immediately flooded with hate, and yet time and time again they outsell their competitors.
Try out the free preview. They have a 2-month trial I believe.
I hope the Wireless display finds its way to the Nexus 7!
Or you can give it a chance, use it the way Microsoft intended for awhile, and discover that people will complain over any change.
I went ahead and purchased it just to check out what the big deal is. It's definitely lacking right now, but I like the idea behind it. Widgets are not standard Android widgets so there is limited support for now, but it's HTML5 based so it should be pretty easy to develop for.
It looks good, and is surprising for an iPhone, but I hardly think it rivals the Xbox 360.
