No, both my suggestions are hormonal. I don't know any non-hormonal long term birth control solutions besides the copper IUD. (and sterilization, but that's harder to reverse)

I have a hormonal IUD (Mirena) and don't have any real side effects, besides that my periods are almost nonexistent now, so cramping isn't really a problem.
