Honestly, I went to the game last night and the seats were fine, but I’m not that tall and I’ve always found the loge seats to be fairly spacious. The balcony seats have always been pretty tight so I’m not surprised the extra padding would make them seem more so.

busch lite tastes like nothing at all! it’s the best for that reason alone imo.

i think they were both in the man from uncle

i just assumed she straight up was not attempting to lip sync for most of that song

I was a rower before I climbed and we also valued calluses, so I get that, but honestly the amount of chalk I use while climbing would destroy my hands without the occasional moisturizing. I am very out of practice so my hands are a bit soft and sad right now, but I have no problem maintaining calluses when climbing

I was wondering that as well, but it seems to me, if they aren’t showering together, I’m not sure why it would be a problem? That was how I took it, though I agree the question doesn’t actually say that.

I have been corrected that the regular season OT has never been 20 minutes, but yeah basketball takes forever near the end.

If it’s the previous 300 games I think you just might get back to when there was a full 20 minute overtime. But not until close to the end.

I mean, plastic surgery to make certain features more caucasian is very common in South Korea, so it’s not surprising that some of them would have had work done.

pull-up vs chin-up refers to the position of your hands on the bar, palms away from you is pull-up, palms towards you is chin-up. if you’re pulling your entire body over the bar, that’s called a muscle-up, and i’d never heard of it as an exercise until crossfit became big.

I need to start inspecting vending machines here more closely... I’ve mostly seen drinks (non-alcoholic outside of hotels) and ice cream occasionally. The 7/11s and FamilyMarts are excellent though.

yeah we always used that. i grew up near the beach so it was a constant. at some point for sports we started using like coppertone or banana boat. there was also a brief period where we attempted the colored spray sunscreen... that stuff stained if you weren’t careful

I will say that it does become harder for women to have children in their late 30s... so like, if you want kids what are you gonna do? I don’t want to have kids, so that doesn’t matter to me, but I imagine it is what some people worry about.

get leafs stuff, the habs suck.

Yeah, probably.

Yes. I still think it’s lucky for the Preds that Rinne is on what could be considered a hot streak right now, rather than say, 30 games ago, but I can agree to disagree on that point. (And I think Rinne is an excellent goalie, I have no disagreement there; I’ve listened to people kvetch about his age all season, so

Maybe I chose a bad example (I don’t personally think I did, obviously), but to say there’s absolutely no luck in hockey is just wrong. I don’t get why you’re so insistent luck doesn’t exist. I guess maybe your point is just that at this point teams aren’t here because of luck? Idk if I agree but I could see that

He has a 94.5% save percentage through these playoffs, historically his average is roughly 2 percentage points below that. They could actually not expect him to play at the level he is playing presently. He is literally having his best playoffs ever, by a far margin. If you want to call it variance, or random chance,

I’m not saying luck is the reason people win 7 game playoff series but you can’t argue that it’s not lucky for the predators that Pekka Rinne is playing the best he has in years.

I’m a fan of what’s going on in the NHL right now (though some of it is luck); I understand some people think that there should be definite great teams in the league (I don’t think this can happen all the time).
