Cars that aren’t overdesigned to hell and have a coherent design flow. This is just a mess of design. The C pillar is a disaster. The side “markies” are tremendously distracting, and are poorly integrated with the rest of the design. The front fender scoops look tacked on. The rear deck, bumper, and tail…
It’s pretty much an Optima with more speed farkle.
I mean, the Optima isn’t bad, I guess.
God only knows. I think it’s an atrocious design
I’m right there with you. This thing is way overdesigned. It looks like a frankenstein of design trends.
I feel like I’m the only one in the comments that thinks this car is ugly as fuck. What the hell are you guys seeing that I’m not?
So, there’s a Lexus ES in your neighborhood?
Would the airport seriously tow you out of those spots if your car was not a Lexus?
Is there such a thing as a small amount of $ when we’re talking about Mitsubishi? I mean, I’m pretty sure they sweat the monthly electric bill.
For Mitsubishi, it totally was a halo car, in that they attempted to use the Evo’s credentials to sell lesser Lancers, Outlanders, etc.
1) Because they don’t know which situations are going to wind up on Jalopnik and witch one’s won’t.
I completely agree with your conclusion here. Mistubishi clearly isn’t interested in selling cars in the US market anymore, who why would they worry about something like goodwill.
I’m guessing all of the Outlander Sport shoppers aren’t browsing Evo forums or Jalopnik, a site which has been home to much Mitsu bashing over the death of the Evo.
When does their responsibility stop? 15years, 20 years? Indefinitely? Pretty sure paying out would not convince anyone to buy a Mitsubishi that wasn’t already going to buy one. All 4 of them.
Not sure why he expects Mitsubishi to cover anything in this situation. It’s way out of warranty. I would have told him to pound sand.
It’s what the buyers at Barrett-Jackson look for.
This is America now. People are looking for every single possible way to be something can be offensive. It is really exhausting.
