You’re wrong about the brake rotors. I say stick with OE. Duralast rotors are made with cheap steel and warp in a year. Honda rotors last ten years (at least on my car). Your call.

I don’t understand this mentality. The residents were not incorrectly paying for this, the HOA was. Why are so many people excited to see “rich” people get hosed for something simply because they are rich? Sounds spiteful. The issue is that if you’re trying to get a representative sample, you actually don’t want volunteers. It’s basically the same issue you see with any rating sites - the people who are willing to go out of their way to volunteer a decent chunk of time and hassle are the people who are super-motivated about something.
