These Statistics may not add up... Sales may be down as a whole for the MKZ as a whole, because NOBODY WANTS LINCOLNs, because 20% of 1000 sales is 200 hybrids, but 40% of 500 is... 200 hybrids. Come on Ford. Your Lincoln's are not flying off the lot like you want us to believe.

Ricky Bobby Approves

I disagree with you about recommending cash purchase on used cars. I will ALWAYS finance the car, not usually through the dealer (exception Manufacturer Certified Pre-Owned), but dropping $20k cash on a car will cost you more in the long run than alternatives. I take that same "downpayment" and drop it into my

Altitudes up 7000ft, we drove into the park down Highway 180, it was beautiful. After clearing the canyon, the car's voom-voom was replaced by the sound of river rapids. Great cruise with the windows down and beautiful weather.

Kings Canyon National Park... just left there. Miles of fantastic roads (if you have a turbo)!

But sadly, we, as consumers are the ones to blame. We allow this.

Denfinately bizarre engineering... what about this one

I used to own one, and it was a brilliant car. A really solid answer to the VW at the time. I wish GM had just kept with the forward thinking that the Corvair offered. It was a fanstastic car. DAMN YOU RALPH NADER!

Wow this new scrolling through comments is awful. If Gawker wants people to dwell on their site (thus consume more ads) make it easy for people to scroll through and read the comments.

I had high hopes, like an LS2 Suburban? LS9 Optional? That would be great, but really $17K for just strapping a supercharger on.

Guilty

By making a cheap version of it... like call is Camaro... oh wait they already do. No young person is going to be able to afford a new Vette, so they buy Camaros and if they could afford a new Vette (Z06) they can certainly afford an M3 which has more creature comforts, handles well, and is pretty quick.

And though you may never go 250+ the 60mph-120mph acceleration for passing would be well... rather enjoyable.
