The ending of Lost was not rushed whatever you think about it.

I weep for these people, it was so obviously sarcastic. Maybe they stopped reading after the first sentence?
This is stunning insight. Thank you.
Ghosn getting “justice” isn’t going to solve whatever problems are clearly hanging over your head.
Agreed. Frustrates me that people see it so either or. Ghosn isn’t an angel but he brought Nissan back from the brink of death, without question. And with the way the industry and Nissan are headed, it’s gonna take the kind of merger only Ghosn could broker to save it from the brink it’s headed to again.
This is an “everyone’s an asshole” situation Carlos Ghosn was a fall guy and guilty but this brings to light the lack of due process within the Japanese legal system as well as the fact that only 1 person has been prosecuted. You can’t blame the guy from escaping certain imprisonment even if he is an asshole.
That’s a great perspective, BTW. I just wonder why, if their case was SOOOO good, why the delay in going to trial? You’d think, if they were so certain of their cases, they’d have wanted a speedy trial. At least here in the US, the criminal cases go to the top of the dockets— everybody is served by a quick, fair…
That is only because the US doesn’t have exit inspections that many other countries have. And in countries were it applies typically they give the local customs agent a call he comes over does whatever inspection is required and the plane is released for departure. When they arrive it is the same way in many cases,…
Ghosn knew the fix was in the moment the Japanese courts refused his lawyers’ request to see the financial documents the charges were based on. How are you supposed to refute the evidence when you cannot see the evidence?
The Japanese judicial system is so tilted (99% conviction rates) that it’s hard to see how he’d get a fair trial, especially since the evidence points toward a contrived set of charges drummed up by MITI to protect Nissan from falling into French government control. This was a set-up, pure and simple.
Think real hard on this one. You’ll figure it out.
I wouldn’t call that a subplot, that was backstory for Pitt’s character. It establishes why he’s at a professional low ebb (which in turn is important for the relationship between Rick and Cliff, as Rick is the only one still trying to get him work), as well as his potential capacity for violence. It’s supposed to…
That’s where your virtue signalling lives right?
Wow. So many things. So, so many things.
Wow.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...
As someone who legit hates feet, that’s the one gripe of yours I do agree with.
The detail was stunning but in hindsight countless scenes had no real point.
