The bitterness is astounding. While you guys aren’t part of Gawker any more, it’s you and your fellow (some former) co-workers fault. You (collective) shit in your bed, and now your angry at someone else for it.

Agreed 100%. The rules are daunting at first, but after toughing out the first quest as a practice round and constantly going back to the book and BGG posts to smooth out questions, it goes a lot quicker when you dive into the full game.

Losing the ability to check teammates’ creds wasn’t something I was looking forward to.
I know he could have kept his opinion to himself and pass for the bigger man but he never received the respect he deserved from Kojima. Hayter didn’t just do a voice. He put his heart into the serie. Do you think Sutherland played MGS5? Hayter played MGS. Hayter had to do an audition for every... single... MGS game he…
That’s cool and all, but the old article you linked to was written by Fahey, and that reminded me that I really miss Fahey :(
@Marx and Sparks, if labels are being used it is either to clarify a point or help paint a picture for the listener. If I am telling you about something in passing I will say “I was with my coworker Bob for lunch” if I pull out details like “I was with my coworker Bob, who has a large red afro” it’s either for you to…
It’s about “approval”. As I understand* the “greys” (or pending comments) are from accounts that have not been approved/followed by a staff member. These are hidden by default, making users explicitly act to see them.
Came to post this, found someone already did.
If we’re at the point where we want tape of co-workers having a verbal spat at the workplace...
What the hell? First Jezebel writes about Kesha’s text message to Lady Gaga about Dr Luke raping Katy Perry, and now you want footage of Jessica Walter being verbally abused? These are horrible violations! Why are you victimizing victims? Katy Perry hasn’t said anything in public about being raped, yet you published…
We do not need this. We know it happened. I think showing this would be very hurtful to Jessica Walter. Let’s be better than that.
Taken at literal face value with no other context, the new movie made more money. However, you can take one of three viewpoints because there’s not a clean way to compare movies across different time periods:
*Patiently waiting for Nintendo to announce western release of Secret of Mana Collection....*
Yeah, the amount of reused assets here was disappointing. I’m kinda wishing they had used the cash and dev resources to add more character missions or something to the main game.
This is a perfect example of why competition is important for any market. Steam has been near monolithic when it comes to PC gaming and even a year or two ago this would have been devestating for visual novels. With GOG becoming solid competition, the people at Valve need to really take a serious look at the content…
I’ve read some Joe Abercrombie and just bounced off it. Name of the Wind was OK, but my goodness, the second book was so atrocious that during some of the middle parts I was just skipping whole pages.
The president was waiting to welcome them.
Goddamnit that Mana collection.
This is basically my biggest fear. All the classic, lesser-known gems that appeared on the VC to my delight, like Ogre Battle 64 from the know defunct company Quest, have a snow ball’s chance in hell of making it on to a game collection or appearing on the new netflix-style offerings. And yes, collections are a…
