yeah you HAVE to be careful on old datsuns with surface rust. I picked up a 280z back home in md for 1700 ended up being a total basket case so i punted it. Moved to texas found a good 280z with no rot, just minor surface rust and an L28et swap for 4400. Jumped all over that like white on rice.

Dude. DO NOT sell your 240z............unless its a total rustball basketcase. In that case I understand.

Two issues: Cashish. And Garage space. :-(

This makes me desire a Datsun Roadster to go with my 280z

Don’t forget, they went 14-2 and FIRED their head coach for Norv Turner.

First Gens are okay, only the 1969 Looks decent.

Yeah but what is the rear end ratio? 2.73s, 3.07s and 3.23s were common in those days.

Just think of all the old 3 speeds!

Granted its not as extreme as an E Type, but it’s still a we bit phallic.

huh? no its a coupe. And hood size doesn’t correlate to a roadster. Roadster just means a 2 seat sporty car with little to no weather protection.

I am not a LoL player but I am a IT pro who deals with networking. I find it EXTREMLY hard to believe an extra 40-50ms latency can make that much of a difference.

I’d shorten the section between the rear of the wheel arch and the fender vent.

I know phallic cars. I have one in my garage.

Well apparently I am not the only one.

On every one of these the trunk/ rear end is sizable enough that it doesn’t look like its simply an afterthought. I think this is the issue with the GT. The hood itself isn’t egregiously, but the tiny posterior exaggerates it.

Not yet.

You may be right. If they made the ass end a bit bigger the proportions would be better.

I like the E-Type and myself own a 280z. So I don’t have a thing against long noses in general. I just don’t like how it is on the AMG GT. Maybe its because the greenhouse/hatch/trunk is proportionally larger on the E-Type/S30 and smaller on the the GT?

I think you are on to something
