Just because the iPhone is rated as having a superior screen, doesn't mean that the article is bias towards Apple. This was a scientific test, and the results are straightforward. However, not everyone needs a screen of this quality, and you're probably right, your phone has a really good display too. I'm happy you

It's more about how the OS operates with those specs, rather than the specs alone.

Um, I believe that's how I sign into Gizmodo to use your incredibly convoluted comment system.

I wish Time Warner would stop trying so desperately to hold on to legacy service, and try to be just a content provider.

What do you mean, how does this affect you if you never had an iPhone? I can see how people with accessories would be annoyed because they'd have to buy an adaptor or something, but someone who has never had an iPhone would be affected by this. Meanwhile, there isn't a huge Android accessory market, so you're not

Waze is really good. I have the $70 Navigon app, and I don't even use it anymore with Waze, which was free (though they may be charging a couple dollars now)

It's not duct tape, it's speed tape, commonly used in airplane repair.

How is this a recent thing? My phone has been working in many stations over the past year on the 4,5,6 and 1,2,3 trains.

There are always two soyuz vehicles docked at the ISS, so that's enough room for six people to get down (the permanent residents of the ISS). NASA usually likes to allow for EVERYONE to get down quickly if there's an issue. That would mean launching TWO more Soyuz vehicles if a wide reaching rescue is needed.

Yay! Dramatic headline for more pageviews!

@fughedaboudit: That's not entirely true - - while they couldn't go supersonic over the US, it wasn't because of the booms (which at altitude would not be so horrible), but because US law prevented them from doing so.

Actually, the Concorde flew over the US, Europe, and a few other countries. Not in the volume of their transatlantic flights, but it wasn't for the booms, it was for the economic viability.

He lived a few miles from where I grew up. He was easy to spot driving around town in his McLaren, siting in the center with that silver head of hair.

@Maverick Moore: LOL. I had a sarcasm tag in there, but I guess Gizmodo removed it thinking I was putting HTML up in my comment.

@PaddyDugan: Why would you be indentured to either? You can choose to use it, or choose not to.

What the hell? If you can't use a tea infuser, you really fail at life.

That's all well and good, but I hate to see the EROPS restrictions on that first one. ONE engine? Have fun getting the regulators allow you to fly that over the ocean.

@resu427: They've had no input on the software of the phone, or the branding of the phone. They really didn't have a choice - they REALLY wanted the iPhone.
