It wasn't a great mini-game, but I had fun with it, a nice change of pace from the card games.

In the year of our lord 2023, it’s been nearly 12 years since Skyrim. You bet your ass the torches and pitchforks are coming. I was 27 when Skyrim came out, I’m likely to be in my mid forties when Elder Scrolls 6 comes out, I'm not getting any younger; let's go.

Sounds like they took a fan theory and made it canon again.

Trust Nintendo to deliver on new, exciting, and fun Mario games while keeping them familiar. Each one a new standard.

The same American audience that kept up with and loved Game of Thrones? The same American audience that played the Witcher games and are part of the target demographic? Sounds like they need to find someone who respects the viewership.

Back when I started going to rock concerts (late 90's), it was bras, panties, and shirts that were thrown up on stage; not drinks and cell phones...

Gotta remember this to piss off my friends

Polygon, Gita and Maddy are on there; but it's still a far cry from what Kotaku was.

It cannot be stated enough how Soken understands a moment and turns up the intensity beyond 11 as he has demonstrated in XIV.

Disagree, each eikon fight was a spectacle more thrilling and bonkers than the last.

XVI is top 5, possibly top 3 of Final Fantasies. Its thrilling, heartfelt, and is of exceeding overall quality; and it’s the quality of it that will easily carry it, much like XIV before it.

The Triforce question may have already been answered in BotW. In Skyward Sword, the Triforce was already a part of Link, he just needed to overcome the mental trials to gain its power. The same thing could’ve happened to Zelda in BotW, she had power and wisdom, but needed to find courage to before she could use its

I get the idea that it just poofed into dust after Calamity Ganon was defeated.

Hot take time: FF hasn’t felt like FF to me since FFVI, when VII shifted to a modern era instead of medieval and used vulger language; it became different, but still had that “magic” about it that lasted up to X. Since then, it has not been the same franchise; turn-based or not, it was redefined after Sakaguchi left; f

You are ignoring the context that Booker is an enemy to both the Vox and Columians; enemy of the former because they are killing white oppressors, and the latter because he was labeled an anti christ. Booker doesn't have an investment in either side, he's caught in the middle doing his own thing.

I don’t have a problem with Nintendo giving us seemingly random games to pick from, after all; that’s how you find a diamond in the rough. But the consistency of it is what bugs me.

Here for the Journey vibes

Hold up...did that trailer just reference Sekiro, Kill Bill, Reboot, and Blasphemous with the mood of Bloodborne and the action of Ninja Gaiden? Yo this game is balls.

You forgot VI were Kefka burns Figaro Castle, poisons Doma, commits genocide at a peace summit, destroys the world; and Celes's on screen suicide attempt as she flings herself off a cliff in despair.

I’m with you, but some materials; like dragon scales, claws, and star fragments required for gear upgrades; are just too rare, and armor is just stupid expensive.
