The amount of folks already commenting to add a pause feature maybe don’t realize that when they are playing a Souls game, they’re playing online. It’s like pausing Destiny, FFXIV, or Halo muliplayer; it’s a live, online, shared space at all times, not a design philosophy.

So what if it's a trap? What's the worst that happens? You die? That's not the worst thing to happen in a Souls game, especially so close to a check point.

See, this is why I buy the physical media whenever possible. Yes, my apartment looks like a hobbit hole of classic conoles and games; but at least I can play my games whenever I want to.

I’m glad I’m not the only one that spent too much time on that boss. He'd always get me with his super sentinel beam and toast me because I get caught backing up on one the pillars. Then try to use them as cover, and the pillars dissappear. Or get zapped by another sentinel...

I know Fromsoft never had the best looking avatars, but it never mattered much considering they're covered head to toe in armor (except for you depraved builds). 

I thought that mission was a highlight, it took balls on the developers part to leave you out in the literal cold and let you find your own way with a tense objective. I'm at the lvl 86 quests, and overall enjoying myself with it. 

They were going to open a new server for Oceana, but the ongoing pandemic with chip shortages and restricted travel to supervise the effort have put a pause on it; and the influx of players from WoW created a demand that Square cannot hope to keep up with. It's not a lack of trying on Square's part, there's just not…

I wasn’t a fan of it, but it had its merits. It could’ve stood on its own, but it was jarring to have the characters from the anime without their backstory that made them compelling.

One of favorite moments so far. The WoL stares and reflects, then a knock on the door; and it's his/her friends going, "yo, ya hungry?" Definitely a sweet moment, and probably the last seeing how events are unfolding where I'm at. (Just finished lvl 83 trial)
