I never had a really useful jolteon. I find it great at throwing out thunder wave, but would soon perish because of its low hp and Def. Sure you could paralyze my tyranatar, but it pulls of earthquake; your jolteon is toast. It's also possible I just don't know to effectively use jolteon.

It’s interesting how her original dialog begs you take a harrowing trip into madness rather than finding it yourself, it frames Yharnam as a "real" place and not a twisted nightmare. It would've made more sense, but also too on the nose.
