I only see good games here. Can we get a list of the low brow, bad games? Would be very helpful.

My resolution is to stop wasting money on in-app purchases. NYC rents don’t allow for pay-to-win mobile games.

This also affected the food delivery apps in NYC. Hopefully fixed by dinnertime!

Marvel Avengers Alliance and now this... will gamers wake up to the risks of pay-to-win and gacha games? Will the so-called whales of free-to-play games become a little more discerning? Or will business continue as usual?

Climate change, human rights, and safe access to rare Pokemon. These are each very important to our times.

Maybe its just the nostalgic effect, and the amazing soundtrack, but Final Fantasy Brave Exvius has definitely won my appeal more than Mobius.

Shutting down the Avengers Alliance... it could start a Civil War!

I think you’re pretty good! Keep it up!

Not surprising that bad game developers are stealing assets, but WOW to Sony for helping market a game with this much asset theft. Even the orcs looks like they’re straight out of World of Warcraft. This should not have been even allowed on the PSN store, let alone marketed by Sony.

Good list! Needs more Secret of Mana.

This is a safe space. Thanks for sharing, Stephen! :)

I like FF Brave Exvius. It has good music and great old-style sprites. I don’t really feel compelled to spend money either.

I liked Final Fantasy Brave Exvius on iOS.

There has been a lot of Pokemon Go coverage in all media outlets during the last week, obviously with good reason. But I skipped the game in favor of trying the launch of Final Fantasy Brave Exvius — except I saw zero coverage of this game. Does anyone like it?

Bankruptcy and impending E3, yeah I can imagine how super chill Friday must be at Kotaku.

You referenced a “one glaring flaw” that existed in the original, but this article does not say what that flaw was.

FLCL

The image of the bridge and the river underneath immediately reminded me of FLCL.

I always thought it was because Kotaku’s reviews didn’t include scores, but obviously there are other sites that do that and still get posted to Metacritic.

Its interesting that Evermore was Squaresoft’s attempt to make a JRPG by and for Americans. Knowing that explains a lot; like my disappointment when I played it as a kid. I loved Secret of Mana, and was pretty underwhelmed by Evermore. Probably just the fault of my own expectations.
