I wouldn’t bother with a chair. No real place to put them. There are grandstands all along the infield that a chair really isn’t necessary.

28% for the US alone

For educational purposes... only about 15% of all F80 M3s worldwide were built with a manual. 5426 of 34677.

Yep, sounds about right. Sounds like a typical Chinese experience. Dealt with it all summer when I was living there.

I don’t watch F1, particularly because of crap like this.

I did this last weekend in Osaka. It was a blast. I do see where Nintendo is coming from, and I kinda assumed they had permission.

Extra salty..

Welcome. Shanghai is a great city, hope you get to see more than just the track. It’s just unfortunate that there isn’t much car culture here that I have found. I am sure the supercar crowd exists, but it’s probably not easy to track down.

MMMMM XLB

Sounds like this should be re-titled to “Parents still not being responsible for their children”.

First off, it’s amazing how many people can’t read. Post on the Lifehacker travel articles if you want to recommend trains and more trains.

Oh so more drivers can get hurt in crashes at tracks that are not designed for these types of cars? I’ll pass.

The question is... will it actually depreciate? It’s not a GT car, or a GTS, so it should, right?

Why is this fine gentleman not wearing a HANS?

What year Indy car was Pocono designed for? Because its almost killed Wickens, and may have ended his career. Designed for something shouldn’t include potentially career ending accidents.

2 comments, one of which I’ll get blasted for probably, but IDGAF.

Eh, silly argument to make. But when 99% of your worst accidents are happening on speedways, maybe it’s time to reevaluate. Maybe it’s time to have an Indy 500 specific car that is simply slower. No more of this 225mph crap where the car can no longer handle the accidents it’s designed for (Hinch got impaled through

There’s a dangerous sport. And there’s immediately ratcheting up the risk when you go to a speedway. Wrecks like this rarely happen on road courses. Yes, Franchitti was on a road course. Regardless, it’s time to go.

And it all happened on speedways, not road courses. Hmm, maybe we need to stop running Indycars at speedways......

It really all depends on what you’re using the car for.
