Explaining to people that, yes, I am indeed a racecar driver. I consider myself semi-amateur at best. I race ChumpCar with friends, so explaining that there are indeed extremely cheap ways to race a car usually gets people’s attention.

Terribly unsafe. I’m sure there’s no blind spots on that thing.

I wouldn’t say they are retiring the car. They’re simply concentrating on development of the car rather than waste time racing a car that never got developed. It’s still going to be the same base ACO chassis with Mazda specific bodywork.

The chassis isnt designed for the power, NA or turbo. That’s their reasoning. In their eyes, their vision was 200HP and thats what they designed around. Yes, you can add more, but in their eyes, it is perfect at 200HP and that’s that. If they were to add more power, to bring it back to the same level of perfect that

The comparison was in concept only. Not a numbers comparison.

The GoFundMe originally started with a much lesser goal, it was hit within a few hours of it going live. It was then increased to $30K.

Now playing

I still don’t understand how, if a batter hits a homerun to take the lead, then does a bat flip, it’s possible he’s getting thrown at during his next at bat. But.... if a pitcher gets the strikeout with bases load, then pumps his fist, yells, and claps his hands together, THAT IS SOMEHOW OK.

OMG the red. So this is a $100k+ car, right? AKA I can’t afford it.

So what are they going to do when Cooper is still the slowest AM on track? Cry that the AMG needs better BOP?

BORING.

There are other flag stations leading up to that corner. But, with TF sessions, not all corners are staffed. It is currently operating as a public road. So, technically, speeds should be low enough that a slick condition should not be as serious as it is when you’re doing race car speeds.

In response to “CommonSenseIsn’tComoon”

While it was a good documentary on Koenigsegg. the title is quite misleading. Should rather be:

4-spoke wheel from the E36 M3. Really any car with a 4-spoke wheel is junk.

How can you honestly say “meanest ever” from a couple front end shots? This is nothing more than an update, and somehow they will have managed to move the engine forward a bit to run a larger diffuser.

Sure, the E36 interior LOOKS nice, but that ish will fall apart like no other. I’m pretty sure the glue used was water based and even a relative humidity of 20% is enough to dissolve it.
