Glad to hear that they're going to make it. That crash was brutal. At about :50 in the video above I think you can see the reason for the crash. The corvette swings inside another Ferrari to pass it, and the stopped car is blocked.

I almost threw a WTF up too, but I then realized that it would just be as ridiculous as the other ideas.
I didn't think I'd ever say this, but that HHR is pretty money.
Also, Corner Brewery is not too far from there either, and heir beer is fantastic. In addition, there's an old (40's or 50's) Mercedes firetruck out front that's worth a stop on its own.
An additional recommendation if you find yourself in Ypsilanti: Motorsport Studio is an art gallery/ race shop in downtown Ypsi (around the corner from the hobby cave) that carries some amazing prints at really reasonable prices. They also sell some awesome shirts if you don't have the cash on hand for something…
Yeah likely very expensive, but not Go-to-jail expensive.
No, speed is one citeria. the other two traditionally are line and angle. If any of these criteria are not met (like in your F1 car that doesnt slide at all, or even if it stops sliding anywhere on the course) then you get a zero for the run, and you lose. So yes, you need to be fast, but you also need to go sideways,…
I'm kind of surprised this one didn't make the list.
"The dealer where I bought my car happens to be a personal friend and I suppose he'll be greatly disturbed by my comments about his little Kraut wagon." Allison grins and continues, "To be fair, the car has unique characteristics and some people may like it. I don't. I think they are $12,000 imported Corvairs."

Me too.
This is relevant.
Oh god, slushbox or fwd, Slushbox or Fwd, SLUSHBOX OR FWD AHHHHHHHHHH!
Mostly that comment was about the ridiculous nature of that statement. It's as bad as "grounded to the ground", especially because we're talking about suspension, not tires. I believe your mustang story. The claims of mustangs not being capable of handling have been ridiculous on and off for about 40 years now. Just…
He did say that the suspension would be stiffer for European drivers. He didn't say by how much, only that and that there would be more tire grip on the roads.
Hahaha... I felt so dirty doing it, but sometimes things just have to be done.
Yes and no. I think the redesign helps move the mustang into the realm o the F-type, however tangentially. The other connection between the two is that their performance seems roughly similar, though I guess we'll have to wait for better numbers and some head to heads to really determine that.
DONE
*sigh*
The car almost looks like an 12 from that angle.... Crazy.
