I think it was seen more as a 'vette fighter in its time, but I cant disagree with anyone posting pictures of AMXs.

This is true. It's also very likely that anyone who was going to be seriously drag racing their mustang (under 10's) was going to end up putting a new axle in it anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if Ford left in some provision in the new mustang to make it easy to throw a live axle back there for those who wish to do so.
I don't know. Given the now-infamous comparison test between the Laguna Seca and the E92 M3, I think that a certain kind of buyer could be persuaded that a Mustang might be the choice over an M3.
People are acting like you couldn't drive a Carrera GT in a straight line at highway speeds, like it was incredibly dangerous to just drive normally. This is not the case. A car (like a gun, oddly enough) is only as dangerous as its driver.
Pretty sure they're all the same guy.
And surprisingly capable power machines too. Performance parts are just hard to come by, so usually they're stuck making whatever they originally made.
I dunno man. Like I said my only evidence is anecdotal/ animated.

Yes, but historically, the only thing that changes these things is someone dying. Retirement is much preferable.
The best part is when you have that nervous feeling, but also the knowledge that whatever adventure you might find yourself on, you can overcome it. The unknown road might mean that you end up in a ditch, or you might know your vehicle well enough and are skilled enough to make your way down it at 7/10ths without…
Yeah, but the relative cost of ALL car ownership has risen since 1995. So even though the miata only costs as much to run as a sentra or whatever, that cost is still a higher percentage of someone's income than it was back when. That means that discretionary use of any car is now more expensive than it was, making it…
And a fired f-16 pilot/ ground ATC. Whoops.
Yeah, wtf was that?
The E46 straightened twice on the first run, and the 2002 almost straightened (but not quite) on the second run in response to slowing down too much for the E46 . 2002 wins!
SEMA seems like a cautionary tale for someone looking to get their car tuned. It's this weird cross section of the top 2% (or at least the best paid 2%) of tuning companies + the OEMs occasionally doing something weird. It shows you that if you want to get your car built but cant do it yourself, you'd better know the…
