So much hype around the Dodge Demon and yet this Nissan Maxima is clearly a hell of a drag racer.

Ugh. Yet another half assed armchair quarterback Saturn article from someone who was a child when the car launched. Saturn really was revolutionary for it’s day, and not just revolutionary for GM - Honda and Toyota dealers were notorious for treating their customers like shit in sales and service back then, and GM’s

So can Bill Burr do these for every race? I probably won’t watch the races, but I’ll sure as hell watch these recaps!

I’m just a noob to the Subaru brand, but I love my 2015 WRX Limited (yes it has the CVT, poke fun if you like) and it has the look back factor you’re talking about for me. I had never owned a vehicle that went above 85 (I’ve been driving 18 years) and this is a dream come true.

Is this the plot to the next Fast and Furious movie? Dom and crew turn into pirates and hijack the ships to prevent them from falling into enemy hands, then The Rock shows up for no reason and they drive cars from end to end at WOT, but it still takes 37 minutes?

That’s pretty much what happened to me too: bought during that lull before all the awesome never versions hit, so I ended up with a 2014 Mustang. I would have been in a WRX as well, had it been available at the time.

I would have been the first in line for a Toyoda ft86 had they offered it on day one- even with a couple thousand more sticker price over the Scion or Suby one. Because it would have been the car I wanted in my head, rather than the reality. But they didn’t and they lost at least that sale.... now 3 or more years

That is standard sales for ANY sports car that isn’t in its first MY. The first year is red hot, and then things cool rapidly. Miata had the same pattern. Same with the Z car. The key is whether you sell enough product in the first 2 years to cover all of your costs, which Subaru & Toyota did.

But the BRZ is not

I have a real beef with the way we define practicality as a society. Why is there this universal idea that more

Hope it goes well, I would have bought the brand new base for 26k over buying a used turbo car that who knows what the previous owner did.

Yeah, they are definitely good and very capable cars, but I think appeasing the peanut gallery that’s asking for more power would go a long way. It’s silly that there are so many people that say that any car with less than 300 or 250 HP is by default “slow” but there’s that perception issue.

I drive a ‘15 Mazda6 with

Hey man, you never know. Maybe bicycle riding was, like, really intense back in the 1870s.
