I replaced my motorcycle DRL with insanely bright LED yellow ones. they are only on during the day and absolutely grab the attention of drivers as they are the color of a construction trucks flashers but they dont flash. Most states are OK with orange/yellow to the front and dont talk about intensity. Works…

Some of them have a burned out low beam and they think no one will noticed. I have had one person tell me “oh yeah, my low beams are out so I just use my high beams.”

I live in Canada, where DRLs have been mandatory on all new cars since December 1989. Here, the problem has skyrocketed since electroluminescent (always-on) instrument panels have become common.

Now if there was only some sort of government standard to get morons to turn OFF the DRLs and turn ON the head and tail lights when its dark, rainy, foggy or snowing out......

Did the French re-badging include a white flag as standard equipment?
