We absolutely LOVE our 2012 Flex Limited EcoBoost that’s a dead ringer for yours. Except for the burgundy liftgate, because I smashed the original in a towing accident.

Holy crap, I’m not the only person in the world who knows about this guy!
And, depending what judge you got, you’d do jail time. Just like our esteemed Editor-In-Chief.
Fascinating! I sent this to my friend who runs an SEM at Harvard and is an avid motorcyclist. I’ll be curious to see what she thinks.
Boston. Enough said.
My BRZ was more fun on back roads and the track. But my WRX is the better commuter, and that’s 99% of my driving.
I’ll race you in my wife’s Ford Flex EcoBoost. And I’ll win. By a lot.
A minor fender bender to my wife’s Ford Flex EcoBoost ended up costing $10k to repair, thanks to the self parking sensors (we never use this feature) and the otherwise minor damage affecting the oil cooler and other systems connected to the twin turbos. It didn’t look bad from the outside, but it was on the inside,…
I was just waiting for that poop emoji to show up. Stef must be happy.
Online inventories are great. When I wasn’t approved to finance a new WRX, I knew there was a better equipped 2015 model on the lot for less money. The sales guy didn’t. That’s the car I ended up buying.
Ah, that would explain it! The tires that came with the car weren’t that good.
Great question. For me it started by necessity. That’s also how it ended, after the apartment complex I lived in banned wrenching in the parking lot. That’s when I moved out.
My point is that the WRX is the better street car, while the STi is the better race car.
I couldn’t own a Subaru if I couldn’t take those kinds of jokes. :D
This is the most Australian thing in the history of ever.
Actually I prefer my WRX to the STi. I’m not sobbing about it at all. I drive on the street, not tracks. Sure, I don’t have the trick center diff and never will, but a simple tune and a J-pipe bumps it to STi horsepower. That’s good enough for me.
Totally agree. I’d take a black 320i, because years ago I owned a black E21 320i. Then I’d get a tune that would effectively turn it into a 238/330.
Neutral: Any diesel VW currently available “new” has been under the government’s microscope for emissions cheating. I don’t think there’s any way they can escape compliance.
Well, see, these are all some of the other reasons that could have a more negative effect on the auto industry. Believe it or not, I agree with you 100%. And all these factors will come into play eventually. Just not immediately.
That is AWESOME.
