I had a 1986 Isuzu Impulse back in the day (badass car) and I used to use the park and ride in the summer to take the MAX commuter train in Portland. I had an aerosol can of that tire repair stuff in the uncovered hatch as it had shit tires. The can exploded during the day and the entire rear window, trim, and some

Found this fine gem of a Ford Granada coupe yesterday and had to get a photo. The paint has aged quite well, right?

Great article about Brehanna... I keep getting angrier every day about the racist BS that only seems to be growing every day. This article let me calm down a bit, breathe, let me know there is still hope, and be proud for her too. Thank you Alanis and especially Ms. Daniels.

Uh dude..... is there a wifey UPS sock fetish going on here? Buy those socks stat! ... Delivered by UPS of course.

Nice 4Runners! Yep, the 3rd gen is a Limited with rear locker. For the 5th gen I got a set of trail wheels from a 2010, with the circles, I think they’re cool, to put a set of Nokian Hakkepitta’s on in the winter. It gets pretty snowy here in Central Oregon in the winter.

No a Fortuner lighter vehicle. The 4Runner is dotted line related to the Toyota Prado and the Lexus GX460.  That said, it’d be awesome if they sold the Fortuner on North American.

It’s really ugly. I still wish the new Blazer would still be body on frame though.

Ahh! I own two 4Runners!

Can I get a mustard yellow one with plaid seats? They *do* paint in yellow in the crash test photos. Damn this new V60 is a looker.

This Audi GT coupe just came on CL today. Clean, FWD only, manual, *brown*, 91k miles.

These two videos were flat out enjoyable. I am road tripping from Oregon, Boise, Moab, Durango, Flagstaff, and Phoenix late this summer, this made me that much more excited for it. On top of it, I will be camping along the way in beautiful paces. Love it that he respected the old Rolls enough to bring it to its full

Let’s go up a trim level from the Lexus IS ..... This ride ticks every box, is fast, good lookin’ ride but attract too much attention from the CHP.

Def COTD (Comment of the Day)

Specific model here... 2003 Honda Element, 3 sets of axles in a year, 2 sets of struts, seems the whole suspension was made of tinfoil and I drove it gently. Then the 5spd manual transmission had a leak, only way to fix it was a new transmission. I had had it. Traded it in on a 4Runner at a dealer, on purpose, I did

For Nissan.... I had a rental Maxima a year ago, I quite liked it, not sure if I’d buy one though. The biggest loss at Nissan lately is the Juke. I rented one once a year when I would visit Phoenix in the winter, it was a ball. Yeah it had a CVT, it had fake 7 speed program built in so I used that and would zip down

Can haz serious want on that Suzuki LJ! It’s like a school bus. Yellow and overhead wipers, albeit without the gravelly voiced school bus driver with her pack of Merits in the dash.

If the market is going to continue toward these small crossovers... hey VW, bring us the CrossFox then!

Now playing

Some Jalop writer stated once ‘warm milk laced with Ambien’... that’s the Solara. I quite liked the 2-door Camry, it put on no pretensions of anything yet was a coupe and sort of cool.

Do what Jefe says Tracy.... and after all that goodness is done, after each wash wax one panel. The hood, the doors. That way keeping it shiny does not seem like a chore. One panel only takes about 5 minutes to do on top of the wash.

David... Article idea for next week, “How have you transformed your car with detailing” or something like that. Another example, my buddy’s 1982 Mazda B2200 diesel, brown, 5spd manual, truck! ... doing truck things at the landfill. Used about 5 coats of NuFinish, which brought some life to the badly oxidized single
