COTD!

Good Lord... I am a Portland native, lived away for many years, moved back 2 years ago, and left again. I’m now in Bend (what I had lived for 9 years) and work remotely. I don’t miss.that.shit.traffic.at.all.

Did you say manual AWD Element? ... sorry, I’m keeping mine...

Nobody has mentioned “Ford Light Regatta Blue” ? ............. and brown. Bought my fine Bronco II in 2000 for $50, still have it, love it. Never lose it in a parking lot.

This fine specimen should be driven but also have its new home in Oregon or California, no salt. Better yet, inland Oregon or California with little rain either and still kept garaged. And for the love of God keep it stock, no big tires, no mods.

This will be worth a test drive. I’m loyal to my Honda Element, but I could be swayed.

This could be a good successor to the Element in spirit and in real life. Good for dirt roads, mild stuff. I'll test drive in a heartbeat if it does come with a diesel. If not, I'll stick with my paid off Element.

I'm an Element owner, yes, you *could* hose it down, but don't. But a soapy car wash mitt works great, then wipe out again with a dry towel. Awesome dog car. One advantage with kids or dogs is the rear tailgate folds down like a truck. Agreed seats are far back to be able to reach babies in carseats. If I had

You're right! Been a while since I lived in DC. I used to bike commute through there....

This made me laugh out loud... and they'd sell 10 of 'em.

I'm an Element owner, love it. Plastics inside are cheap and paint scratches easily, but drives well, crazy versatile, can camp in it, and has a decent VTEC engine.

The poutine button, which includes a motorized curd and gravy dispenser, like it!

I haz sads.... because Corolla twin?

Hey... If I drove a minivan, why not? If I want wheelz, gonna get me some wheelz.

Def.... lose the camber, have some nice wheels with Michelin Pilots. Keep engine modded, but keep stock look, retain manual transmission. Suburban family/gear hauler win! I'm a single guy that likes minivans, I can road trip, with girlfriend, our dogs, and can sleep in it along the way.

We have around 20 roundabouts here in Bend, Oregon. They're great. Locals use them no problem, even old lady drivers. You can tell who the out of towners are though. Have 3 roundabouts on my 4mi commute to work, heck of lot more efficient than stop signs or traffic signals.

All Element ... with manual 5spd of course and the best runnin' dog ever.

Agree with all except the bumper protectors. After having an ex GF in NYC, I can totally understand the need for these for parallel parking; and parking in NYC is competitive and 'creative'. People actually used bumpers for bumping. I had a crapped out '95 Ford Probe (hey, my old GF found it, don't judge), so didn't

I like it actually, because it's not beige, especially with the diesel option, which we won't see in the states. The Lexus version @Blondude just posted, no-go.

I have to half-disagree with you. And used to live the hipster lifestyle and do drive an Element myself (hence the half disagree part). Elements really fit with the outdoorsy crowd, which does all things like running, cycling, mountain biking, all with a dog, and kinds of gear racked/attached to Element. I fit that
