Too much lag. You would lose some of that initial torque.

I remember really wanting a 2nd gen Cavalier Z24 when I was 16. It was blocky in all the right ways and had the cool power bulge hood. I found a blue one with the 3.1 and actually had my parents onboard as they footed the insurance bill at the time. By the end of our relatively tame test drive the motor was ticking…
Piper and Cessna used this model, too: Learn to fly in a clapped-out C152, buy a clapped-out C172 to haul the wife and kid(s) around, get a pressurized C210 when you make VP, and a CitationJet when you get CEO (they need a turbine single—besides the Caravan—in the mix between 210 and CJ, though).
Annnd.... Lincoln wins decidedly.
If the Expedition and 4-Runner were related, yes.
Yes
The only positive consequence of sedanpocalypse is that the sedans that remain, simply HAVE to do better. We know the Camry, Accord and Mazda 6 are all excellent cars now. I sat in the new Sonata at the LA motor show and was seriously impressed. I’m predicting the new Optima will be even better. Hyundai gets what…
Mazda’s cars do not have the performance to back up the looks, the feel, and the marketability that goes with both. To me, that’s frustrating and a turn-off. Don’t make a spicy-looking hatchback if you aren’t going to give it spicy performance.
There isn't a Beretta in the world worth anywhere close to that.

This looks like an AutoZone chrome accessory gussied up Navigator with fake badges, yet somehow worse than the sum of those parts.
Every example is ushered gently through a Pep Boys on the way out of the factory.
It’s awd with an eLSD on the front axle.
A 300hp car with an M in the name in this day and age? We’ve basically had this car with a manual since 2013 with a regular 335 xDrive.
My 2019 440i has twin exhausts, but there is a valve that constrains the flow to one side only, unless the car is in Sport mode, which opens them both up and also delivers more growl. You can spot owners of these cars (also 340s and 540s) who never (or rarely) switch their cars out of Comfort mode, by the fact that…
“I’ll note that at Test Fest, we sampled a pre-production car—hence the camo, more to cover up unsightly development holes and marks than to hide its identity from the good people of Spartanburg, South Carolina.”
The Pontiac G6 GXP came from the factory with this thing. It was like, a generic brand Porsche whale tail.
They were a hard sell in the 90's as well. $46K was a lot of money in 1996.
I couldn’t disagree more- this is a case where history rhymes.
