I have seen FAR more children running wild in airports than dogs. In fact, I have never seen a dog running wild in an airport. Children should be leashed if they can’t control themselves. Or caged.

If one has a life-supporting medical procedure scheduled, one does not go on vacation on the other side of the country right before it.

This is what I was thinking.

As a cancer survivor I would like to say fuck this bullshit, if you’ve gone through this stuff you’ve likely seen the graphs of remission and recurrence rates for your special beast out to 5 years or so at least. You know there is always a chance and if Stage IV those odds tend to not be as much in your favor. It

1000000%. If you can afford first-class tickets, you can afford a Xanax prescription so you can ... *checks notes* tolerate a flight without your cancer coming back. (What a shitty thing to allege.)

ROFL! Unless that dog is an actual, documented service animal, she hasn’t a leg to stand on. And her cancer came back because she was away from her fur baby for a minute? Uh no dear, that’s not how that works at all. The sad part is JetBlue will probably give this wingnut some settlement money to go away.

The Model Y’s entire rear window broke in the process

Someday we'll have the technology to manually back into a parking spot

It’s literally a self-parking feature.  The whole point is the automation.  If you have to monitor it and command it when to stop, it’s really a remote control feature.  Which would be fine if it was actually advertised as such.

Impossible, this violates the third law of robotics.

This. It doesn’t matter whether there’s a disclaimer that states this whole thing was the owner’s fault. It’s in any case kind of concerning the car can’t “see” an object headed straight for the rear window.  If they are going to stick with just cameras, maybe the rear camera needs to be mounted on the roof line like

This feature should be illegal. Tesla doesn’t have a self-driving car, much less a level 4 which is required for operating without any human intervention.

I summoned my Model Y to back into a parking space and it couldn’t detect the garage above

As stupid as someone who buys a car from a company that says it’s not a car company.

But none of those claims to be totally automated, nor do they have names that make users think they are.

Yeah this tech is definitely ready to take over for drivers completely!

They are the same kind of person that trusts in-car navigation blindly and drives their vehicle into a river or some other trip ending geographic feature.

Just imagine how stupid you have to be to want a Tesla, pay the fascist, buy into his false promises, rely on a feature that is half-baked as per usual, and then back it up to something which overhangs the space, knowing the sensor is in the tail end.

This is like at a party when someone says “Hey watch this” showing off followed by “Ow, ow, ow — I think I hurt myself”.
