The first ones are 25years old can now register as an historic vehicle in my State

Have they even found the driver yet though?

Vanagon Captains Seats in average condition sell for about $1,000 here in Aus. They aren’t so bad.

I read that in Pakistan and Afghanistan the Japanese imported Corollas (whihc are a large percentage of the car market) were prized over the ones imported from the USA and Europe. Are they regarded as better built? Did the Corolla 4wd wagon ever make it over there?

What is interesting though that here in Australia the prices of the 200 series have gone up higher than the 300 in some cases because last of the V8s!

Yes, includes tax.

Yes.

Now playing

Someone got ripped off buying the Tercel for $7250 Could have had Paul Rudd sell you one for $7198

I want to post the original clip of this sketch for those amongst us that have never enjoyed it.

I’m not crying it’s just rust flakes in my eyes.

Why are there no boxy 4wd Hi boi wagons anymore?

Toyota - I challange you to give the TJ Cruiser concept some extra Tercelness.

Here. I’ve nailed the concept for you. I’ll take a hybrid SR5 in Green with Brown Plaid trim thanks for asking.

Thanks, I must have misread somewhere. I knew about the exports to the UK but the USA version looked similar but 5mph crash tests would have been problematic with the AUS version no doubt

The response I was looking for! Also the wagon rear was exported around the world from Australia to the USA and UK from Fishermans Bend. Aussie ingenuity at its finest -  kind of.

technically a summer project list.

We don’t have enough rust in Australian cars. You might need to bring your own.

Our 114 tsi has needed two timing chain replacements including tensioners and sensors and leaks like a sieve after only 80,000 kms its a 2010.

Meanwhile no problems with the three Outbacks my best friend has had who is terrible with cars but oil changes then every six months.

Neither are Toyota robust though. Got a 4afe

Also the Diesel

Still they are rock solid when maintained comparted ot out of warranty German mechanicals

Wait till they review VW TSI engines... Makes Subaru look like a Toyota 22r
