I have a 100hp AWD wagon and mostly get held up by other drivers not reading the road conditions, barely an issue unless overtaking up hills
It will be great. We have a lot in Australia and work really well in tight city streets as well. Freeway will be not an issue. you won’t be going too fast down there I imagine?
Why have reversing camera when you can have a hole to look out of.
I really like the later model lights tbh
Later model lights vs earlier.
I bought exactly that model Golf because of that Santos Green colour. Its almost like the Porsche 911 green of around that time right?. Word of advice for young people don’t buy a car because of the colour.
correct except no turbo these were slow as molasses.
I have an all-trac Corolla of the same generation. and use about double the fuel for City driving which I put down to the extra drag of the drivetrain. However if I drive smoothly without stop starting too much and coasting it makes a huge difference.

I’m in Australia but have lived in Northern Japan for a few snow seasons (15meters of snow each winter). There was constant plowing and gritting of roads and I believe a little salt in some rural areas. Most people just made do with small kei cars with snow tires through winter however the density of the traffic and…
Have any localities of the US stopped using salt on the road? seems like the cost that it has on cars, trucks and bridges / infrastructure not to mention the environment would be larger than just a spare set of tyres for winter. The cost of salting the roads could be used for free tyre changing bays for drivers to use…
I’ve seen plenty of H-vans in Tokyo as well. I’m not ever sure they were originally sold there!
Maybe that was for older/ cheaper units. I’ve got 150w on my Westfalia VWT3 and they have been awesome for the last four years but they aren’t in the sun when I’m not camping. but have powered a 60litre fridge for 7 days in the desert where temps have been between 18 and 40C. I was worried about clearance under my…
