Converting to LHD would not work as the driver would be sitting on the rear seat passengers shins when the passenger wanted to stretch out.

I bought a vanagon as an investment and although which sounds like a dumb move but where I live cars 25years or older pay $150 a year registration and it’s actually been very reliable and cheap to run (except on gas). its gone up in value almost 50% in four years so it is covering its costs and my holidays. 

Bring back a production class! Like this Tercel 4wd that completed the 1983 Paris - Dakar on what looks like 155 series tires. Be fun to see Jimnys and Foresters doing the same course as the big guys.
