Not just humidity.  Also convection from the steam rapidly wafting up into your face.

No worries / Thanks! I wasn’t familiar with Buydig. I’ll add them to my “sites to watch” next time I’m in the market for something. I went ahead with Massdrop which ended up being $2300 (the page misquoted the price in basket). I don’t think I’ll do better this year given BF is past.  Massdrop is mildly annoying

Where’d you find it for that price? I’ve been monitoring it lots of places including over Black Friday and didn’t find it below $2500. Massdrop has it today (instead of just the 77") for $2200 and I’m thinking of pulling the trigger, although they don’t ship until Jan.

What type of speakers do you use (if you don’t mind)?  I’m thinking of smartifying my home, and pretty much starting from a blank slate.  The only IOT device I have right now is an Apple TV.

This is beautiful. I bike to work every day on a bike share. Of all the hazards (drivers, clueless pedestrians, tourists on bikes stopping without warning), the Spandex Cannonballs that think they are on their own personal racetrack are the absolute worst.

Something I have wondered about but not bothered to read much about... perhaps you know... how do scientists estimate the mass of a black hole? How sound is the technique? What kind of estimation errors does it produce?

If you’re referring to toasting toast, definitely try doing it in a skillet. I have a toaster oven but for toast, far prefer the results from my cast iron skillet with a touch of whatever fat I’m using (coconut oil or butter).

Just came here to say that I do live in the U.S. and rabbit is absolutely a treasured source of food for me. Far superior as a food than as a pet.

For some reason I was really expecting Luigi to flip the bird at the end of this GIF.
