AETNA IS THE GODDAMN WORST. My employer switched from great BCBS plans to save money and now we have Aetna plans that are so horrific I basically just don’t go to the doctor anymore except for my yearly.
Yeah, insurance is a crapshoot in the best of times. It also depends on the plan. I’ve heard people hate on UHC, too, but I’ve got pretty good coverage thru my work. I work in insurance so I was mostly speaking from this side of things 😉
Meanwhile so many gay couples continue to open up their homes to kids without families (when we let them). But that is apparently not god’s plan for marriage and family.
I’m sorry that she had to go through all of that surgery and trauma and have it all fail because of something so seemingly minor.
He was pretty awesome until he took the mask off. Freezing blaster fire, making everyone around him terrified. Then he took the mask off and we got Hayden Christensen’s “I don’t like sand” whiny teenager again.
iZombie is incredible, and honestly a better show than Walking Dead. Walking Dead can be incredibly badass at points but also just beyond stupid. I kind of hate that I ever started watching it.
What I don’t agree with is people threatening the band and their family. That only confirms this guy’s delusional belief that feminism is holding him back in some way.
But, but, what good was my semester abroad if I can’t lecture my fellow Americans about how the Europeans have everything figured out?
I recently read an article about why developers didn’t think about these situations, and it basically said that it was because these situations are typically ones that happen to women. The lack of women in tech industries means that there’s less people who think about problems that women are more likely to encounter.
Little did she know that Duncan(McCleod, of the clan McCleod) was an immortal who would end up dumping her before he had to watch her grow old and die like so many of his past loves.
On my travels of the internet, I’ve found this website that sells 80s teen books http://sweetheartsromancebooks.com
I have such memories of reading books from this series in the 80s. There was one that sticks in my mind involving an oil spill, where the heroine proves to the boy she adores that she's the one for him because she's willing to get dirty cleaning oil off birds while his stuck-up girlfriend refuses to get her sweater…
“It is terrifying to be somewhere and not know if you’re safe and what’s happening.”- spot on. I live in Brussels. I was here during the November lockdown, when the whole thing had an air of hilarity. People were tweeting cats to avoid giving the bad guys info. But there was still that feeling of “but we’ll be okay,…
Getting out of the city for us carless commuters is an adventure in and of itself because there's no busses or trains leaving or coming in anymore.
That’s fun. He blames his wife’s success and “breadwinning” for driving him to do it, but then uses her financial dependence on him as a reason for a shorter jail sentence? Totally makes sense. I bet this guy is a meninist.
In a similar but unrelated note, I now bump into men who walk right into my path instead of moving to the side as we pass on narrow sidewalks.
Abstaining from sex with clients is a solid idea for any therapist tbh
That’d be possible. And intelligible.
