“I apologize to Congressman Duffy for referring to him as a moron. I should have said he is a liar and a charlatan.”

Ah yes, the old hate on PewDiePie bandwagon. You know I don’t care for his videos, or the way he presents himself and I don’t watch him but...

Well... There are factions of the Chinese government that would just love the opportunity to show of China’s strength with a small-scale engagement. They see it the same as when the world was forced to take Japan seriously after their defeat of Russia.

His lack of impulse control is both astonishing and terrifying. And I disagree that the China situation is the goddamn worst. I’m afraid we haven’t seen anything yet.

Trump could kill elected officials and his supporters would still say “it’s not as bad as what Hillary did, why isn’t she in jail? emails! wikileaks! benghazi!”

He’s like a fucking toddler that demands a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch and by the time it’s made he doesn’t want it anymore and has run off to eat dirt.

Like, there’s an article in The Economist today about how the Yuan is at a two-year low despite China’s best efforts, and how they’re concerned by what stronger measures might be needed to reverse the trend.

“If any of us had a grandpa talking like Trump is tweeting today we’d start looking into finding a nice nursing home and we all know it.”

Because if there’s anything that should be a “surprise”, it’s our relationship with one of the most powerful countries in the world, and one of our most important trade partners.

I mean, remember he told us he couldn’t tell us his plans for ISIS because that would be giving it away? Or when he said that he’d “see” if he’d accept the results of the election?

Right? Like, let’s forget about the current administration, his own fucking people don’t even know what he’s doing unless they are babysitting him.

So I’m just basically telling myself that things will be okay because China has as much interest in global tranquility as we do. Let’s all tell ourselves nice things.

Well he’s already comitted treason. But go down for it? That might be too much to ask.

It’d be cool if Trump himself knew what he was going to say or do before he said or did it.

There is a strange obsession from some film directors to get “real” emotions from their actors on set. Ridley Scott did it with the chestburster scene in Alien, Kubrick with Shelley Duvall on the set of The Shining, and clearly Bertolucci did it with this film. Now those first two examples are far less egregious than

That’s the part that enrages and baffles me the most (aside from everything else, I honestly can’t decide). You literally hire actors to pretend to feel emotion. There is no reason to force them to actually feel it. There is no fucking reason to make a woman really feel like she’s going to get raped. Talk to her like

How much more authentic John Snow getting stabbed would have been if he had really been stabbed!

If she objects in the moment, she’s called unprofessional and is still pressured into doing it.

I mean, I think the world is also different in 2016 than it was in 1972 for women coming forward with these kinds of stories. (Still not great, but better, generally speaking.) I don’t think it’s simply an issue of men corroborating a woman’s story and then all of a sudden everyone cares, though that’s certainly part

Outstanding idea!
