Kanye is a asshole with no filter, but he is also incredibly intelligent and talented.

Who cares how many instruments someone plays? There are hundreds of ways and means for making music including no instruments at all. As I recall from watching the special, he didn't speak, he performed.

His 21 Grammy's are what get him best rapper alive. It super simple to not "listen" to him. His lyrics speak for themselves. Auto-tune is a tool her uses, just like Beck and his musical cheese grater.

Are they though? Best Artist of all te artsy arts?

All Falls Down

are you joking? did you ever pay attention to any of his lyrics? Kanye has a deep understanding of the racial oppression and the materialism of his nation. He indicts himself in the latter, too.

Dude just keeps upending our expectations of what entertainers owe us, SNL keeps giving him a platform to irritate us, and I luffs it I do I do I do.

That's the way I feel about other artists like Will.I.Am or Macklemore, but with Kanye there is something more there. The crazy ego coupled with the vulnerability and other not-so-beautiful effects of the human condition give his schtick more depth. I agree that there is some bullshit pseudo-intellectualism happening

I thought Kanye was really good. I don't mind his antics because I don't think celebrity behavior is all that important, but his music is good.

Next level. Good for him.

Tell Nori about me.

scientology is not a religion.

For one, what does it matter that Beck is white? He did it because he thought Beyonces music video was better not because taylor swift is white. Two, Taylor Swift could never eclipse Kanye. Just being honest.

Yeah, but Kanye rules and no one other than Grammy voters even knew Beck was still alive. (Seriously—I like Beck fine, but if you'd asked me I would have figured he was in Topeka working for the local Org and asking locals if they wanted a personality test.)

Jay Z have accomplished more than you have in your life, so if he's dumb what are you?

So Beck wins a Grammy presented by Prince just after Jeff Lynn and ELO performed to a dancing Paul McCartney.

Thank you for laying that out. My original question (which appears to have fallen by the wayside) was this: If you don't know someone has hit their head and they're not exhibiting concussive symptoms at the moment but don't remember it after the fact, how is someone reasonably expected to be aware of the other party's

I'm not part of that us (apologies if that's not what you meant). I don't think that's what's being discussed here. The underlying point of the article is that even good white people with good intentions end up taking away the focus from the very real, very dangerous issues affecting black people. That is demonstrated

Oh, sure. I don't mind googling that for you.

The US squad did not have nearly enough talent to advance beyond the group stage. We almost stole Belgium the way we stole the Ghana game. But we were outclassed in 3 out of the 4 games we played. Don't blame his tactics. He's just being candid. I appreciate it. The future looks bright
