Can you not do all of that and more in The UK? They have laws against offensive speech and they’re doing better today than at any point in their history. Not only that but they’re righting their own deep historical wrongs. They don’t need the first amendment. Nobody does. It’s a violent relic of times past.

I agree with you and also do not believe there are many centrists left these days.  Most Democrats have moved left to meet us here, where we’ve been all along.  And some, though many fewer, Republicans have moved to the extreme right to meet Trump. 

The first and second amendments have no place in modern society.  How much more evidence do we need?

What it comes down to is that it would be free for those that vote for it to be free and cost a bit more for those that would vote against free-for-most healthcare. 

So, just because she’s the highest paid black female athlete means that she couldn’t be paid higher if she wasn’t a white male athlete instead? Because that’s the point. She could easily make twice as much without the racial and gender handicap.

Just because you don’t want to see the change happening, the change that you pretend to want, doesn’t mean it’s not. Why is it that you all clamor on about wanting change but when that change is available you scream bloody terror and retreat to your neocon centrist roots?
