I must be buying the wrong Electrical tape.  

Sticky tape can leave a sticky residue. There are reusable stickers and stickers that cling only to glass that don’t leave residue. I cut out a small piece of a “window cling” that my kids got somewhere and put it over the camera. 

And if you give them enough info to prove its your home to request the photo be removed, then they have a heap of info about you, your computer, email, address, etc.

And unfortunately you are giving them more information about you than they had to begin with when you complete this process.  

I thought it was just me and everyone else in their 40s having more trouble seeing dark subtle contrasts. So if it wasn’t age, I was going to blame it on cell phone screens, glyphosate, the Russians or big sugar.

I only have the 2 problems that #1) when I open my MacBook, even after 20 minutes, there are random old messages still marked as unread.  I have to manually click on each to mark them as read. Turn off notifications for everything except essential communications apps. Best thing I’ve ever done.

I’ve extensively tried turning off a family member’s phone’s alarm with Siri and am not convinced this is actually possible.
