Wasn’t a Toyota truck the hero of a previous set of California fires too?

Yeah... to save money they put this rail in the corridor of US-1 (a significant highway) which has many connecting roads per mile and barely room for a shoulder before the rail. At many of these crossings, when you turn right off of US-1 you have barely 2 or 3 car-lengths before you are in the train path. This both…
Florida DMV actually has a decent booking system. All the normal things are really fluid and efficient, unlike anywhere I went in the past. I still process everything possible online.
Not a Lexus, but several years back I surprised my wife with a new car for Christmas. She was amazed! Every Christmas since then has subtly felt like a letdown though.
Not me but to close friends... In Florida, uninsured drivers are involved in the majority of wrecks and nearly 70% of our insurance cost is to protect against uninsured motorists. However, when a normal, law-abiding citizen, who lives in a RV and has 2 cars changes insurance companies... the state’s “AI processing…
Before our tag expired, my father-in-law “pre-ordered” my wife a new-release collegiate plate. When they became available she went to get her new plate... but my name is first on the registration, so I drove down there. Then they said they couldn’t apply my father-in-law’s purchased credit to the plate because it was…
The tires on these were almost $5k back in the early 2000's... I can’t imagine the cost of tires over the course of 205k miles!
I got a Tacoma because of the incredible value and I didn’t need a big truck. I even got the 4 cylinder model because of the gas mileage. I really don’t care how my truck compares to someone else, especially in size. I was surprised at how much it matters to other people... I’ve been taunted and yelled at by dudes in…
You left out they also put the extracted oil through an intense purification process that improves the color, taste and odor.
I’ve started using simplelogin.io and I love it. I setup my own domain just for this use and it keeps my gmail inbox quite well organized. If there is a breach of a website, the email address used is disposed of and I move on, never receiving anything on that one again. (Firefox Relay also looks good but uses a…
If you have gunk stuck in the pan after cooking and washing with soap and water, pour 2 table spoons of coarse salt and scrub with a damp sponge or rag. Also get yourself a stainless steel flexible spatula or “fish turner”. You won’t scratch the cast iron and any seasoning that comes off wasn’t going to stick anyway.…
There are several people in my area that are refinishing over laminate / formica countertops with an epoxy coating and a few stages of “splatter paint” style that makes them look like granite (unless you look really close). It smoothes out edges and can hide damages. The finished product looks really nice and seems…
My favorite so far is a post saying “Hey guys, I made a meme... tell me what you think!!” then just the actual mugshot, unaltered.
The Lifehacker.com site I loved seemed aimed at early adopters and tech savvy folks... the current Lifehacker is hocking 12 year old MacBooks... Unless the part about getting a cheap laptop to run Linux Mint on for the novelty got dropped during editor review...
Sorry to bother you... Amazon should rebrand this to “WorryFree Inc.” and provide housing, food, medical etc. all in exchange for your lifetime data.
Gmail already has access to these links before you open the email... there is no reason they need to turn on this feature except to capture more data about how you interact with the content of the link. They can and do remove emails before your inbox that have links that match blacklists created from known phishing…
Weird... this is the exact list of what I use my watch for. It does tell time and notify me of appointments too.
“...They’re expensive, but less so because of the Prime Day sale, but don’t worry about it: put it them on your Amazon credit card and forget it.”
Yeah I like that workout aspect of it. I like to sit when I’m heading to a fishing spot then stand and fish. When just going for a cruise I stand and get the exercise like you said. It is much more body work than kayaking.
I have a nice short seat bungied to mine and love it. I can cruise faster sitting down and its a nice comfy seat if you encounter waves. Its not in the way when i stand up and I have rod holders attached since there is nowhere else to attach them.
