In August 2017, the Undertale fandom has become considerably quieter, though fanart keeps coming and cringe-videos are being uploaded all the time. Even so, some fans say the community does have a good side.

Any time anyone complains about anything related to a fandom, I always have to point out exactly this. All fandoms are good and bad but what you see more of is the bad fandom because by being louder, more annoying, and actually wanting the attention, it is the side that gets more attention.
