Yeah, rust is everywhere. I’m by no means a Toyota stan. I’ve had a couple (no trucks), and they were perfectly fine appliances. Living in the SW, I don’t have to worry about rust issues, but I’ve heard the stories. I’m not so sure they differ from any other brand on salted roads, but if so, then yeah, fuck them, too.

It’s been 18 months, so far maintenance has been a whopping $73 for an oil change.
