I’m like 98% sure her mom lives with them, not to mention the obvious financial capability they have to hire someone who is more than qualified to care for an infant.

I have a 4 month old and as a family we decided I’m not going back to work. Which I’m fine with! Ok with! Happy with!
We took our baby to an evening Nationals game. It was eight o’clock, he was chillin in his Ergo. The guy behind me was screaming obscenities at the Braves. My friend was like, “aren’t you going to yell at him to quiet down?”
Today is my first day back at work after maternity leave and everyone is asking if I’m okay and if I’ve cried and I want yell, “FREEDOM IS MINE, AT LAST,” at all of them but I feel like that would make me seem like a bad mom. Newborns are BORING, no matter how adorable they are! I got to eat my breakfast with two…
Man, more power to any new mom who can get an hour or two to herself (or out with her husband, girlfriends, etc.). You suddenly feel like everything you have belongs to a tiny, adorable, demanding creature. A brief respite to wear clean clothes and engage with adults can help keep you sane.
None of the concern trolls seem to be upset that John left his nine days old to have a meal....
This is such a weird topic for me to read about... I’m currently in nursing school, and considering this area as a specialty.
