I have pretty dry skin and have had good experience with Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous. It’s cheap, easily blendable, and doesn’t flake out my skin nor turn into an oil slick.

I’m heading to Japan in March and am looking for beauty recommendations! I’ve tried many Korean brands, but haven’t forayed much into Japanese beauty/skincare. If anyone has any must-visit stores or brands, let me know!

Is anyone a scent master that could give me a perfume recommendation? I got a tester of Not A Perfume by Juliette Has a Gun from Sephora. I’ve gotten so many compliments! But I can’t bring myself to spend over $100 on a perfume. Anyone know of something that smells similar, or website that has some sort of scent

Ensure is good suggestion, although I don’t know if they have a dairy-free version. Try adding in protein shakes between meals with nut butter. Lifting heavy weights and gaining muscle is also an option!

I recently tried Thirdlove, after hearing them advertised on every podcast I listen to, and I LOVE it. Many of their bras have half sizes, which is great for me. They’re not cheap, but still less expensive than many of the top brands at Nordstrom. Check it out!

Anyone have a good & CHEAP BB/CC/ tinted moisturizer recommendation.? I’m close to finishing my tube of Maybelline Dream Fresh BB cream, which is really more like a tinted moisturizer compared to the high end BB creams I’ve tried. I like how light it is on days where my skin doesn’t need foundation, but I don’t love

What brand shampoo and conditioner do you use? I have a perpetually itchy scalp I wonder if unscented products would help.

I just started curology this month! I don’t have rosacea, so I can’t speak to the efficacy of the products they might have for that. I’ve really liked my prescription for blackheads and an overall improved skin texture. Unfortunately I’m still going through some purging so waiting for that to pass before I can really

I use colourpop lipstick primer ($5) which is kind of a waxy chapstick. It’s worked really well for me, especially with drier formulas that tend to get creasy.

I’ve been using Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage for several years. It’s spendy but lasts forever and has two shades to customize shade (chin vs. undereye). I also recently bought NYX Foundation Stick which works really well for me as foundation and additional coverage. Also on the low-price spectrum I’ve heard good

I started using Mario Badescu hyaluronic lotion last winter when nothing I put on my face would get rid of flakey dryness. There’s one with and without SPF. It’s definitely more expensive than a tub of Ponds, but I haven’t found any drugstore one’s that work.

My first Play box came too! So far I like all the products, especially the color of the Smashbox liquid lipstick (Driver’s Seat).

I used to henna my hair, but it’s super dark brown so it only resulted in a slight reddish tint. It’s quite drying so be prepared for that.

Is the Tarte Maracuja oil worth the price? I’ve heard so many good things from beauty bloggers but the comments on Amazon and Ulta were super mixed. Is it just great for moisture or did you notice something else?

I also bought some NYX makeup from the ulta sale! I love their lipliner.

Does anyone have a recommendation for an eye cream for dark circles/ minor puffiness? I’m in my late twenties, so I’m not concerned with anti-wrinkle stuff YET. I did some preliminary googling but wow there are just so many products to sift

It ain’t fun! Just got my license last week :)
A lot of women in my class would wear power lipstick on exam days to give them an extra boost of confidence!

Does anyone have tips how to make your eyebrows more like amicable sisters rather than the estranged type? I finally found the right brow pencil. My eyebrows are essentially black, but my hair isn’t. Most pencils are too brown or black ones just make me look like a cartoon, which is not the look I’m currently going
